Letter to the Church (July 26th)

 Dear Church,

        It is good to pen another letter to the members of the Lincoln Baptist Church. Our new website is up and running and we are currently putting the finishing touches on our app which we will be hopefully launching soon. 

    This past Friday we hosted our second annual Youth Rally where we invite churches from the surrounding area to join us for a special teen service. We are thankful to the Liberty Baptist Church of Fremont for coming to join us this year. We had as our guest speaker Evangelist Calvin Allen. He preached a wonderful message challenging our teens to stay in the will of God for their life. It was truly a great service. 

    This past Sunday our church plant in Sunday hosted their opening Sunday morning service with 36 in attendance and 3 precious souls following the Lord in believer's baptism. Sunday evening 19 returned for the evening service. The new Pran Buri Baptist Church is off to a great start!

    It is always a very special thing to be able to start another church. Though the church plant is far away on the other side of the world, it should be exciting to our church that we can come along for this journey. I am looking forward to going soon to see firsthand the groundwork being laid for this new church plant. 

    As I finish this letter to our wonderful church I want to encourage everyone to stay faithful to the Lord, to His Word, and to His Church. God has blessed us corporately in so many ways recently, but we must individually be on our guard. Satan will subtly attack the church corporately, by attacking her members individually. do not let yourself slip into ungodly behavior. Do not let yourself be overcome with discouragement. Do not neglect your time with the Lord. Be faithful believing that, "He which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Christ:" (Philippians 1:6) let us continue until He returns.
