Pastor's Letter (August 4, 2023)

Dear Church
It is good to be back from my travels. All said and done my family spent about twenty-five hours on the road from last weekend. Needless to say, we are ready to be out of the car. However, the long road trip was well worth the fruit it bore. Mrs. Adams, Now Mrs. Frantz, had a wonderful wedding with a good turnout of both family and friends to wish them well on their new beginning in marriage. Below you will find several pictures from the wedding.

Having traveled from Warsaw, Indiana to Boubonaise, Ill. on Saturday evening after the wedding we were thrilled to visit the Faith Baptist Church. It was invigorating to see the spirit and zeal of the folks at the church there. Dr. Terry Anglea is the pastor there. He took that pastorate many years ago after serving under Dr. Larry Brown in Washington, Iowa. Over the years it is evident that the Lord has greatly blessed that ministry.

While we were at Faith Baptist Church we had an opportunity to visit with one of the missionaries we support in Panama, The Hansons. Bro Isaiah Hanson and his family had returned for a brief visit to the States and we were thrilled to hear firsthand of how the Lord is blessing their work.

I am looking forward to being back in the pulpit this Sunday. I believe the Lord has some wonderful messages for our church that I am looking forward to sharing with you. If you are able to come please join us for the services this Sunday. David said that he was glad when he was invited to the house of God. Even so, I hope church is a joyous and refreshing place for you as well. I will see you there on Sunday! Have a great weekend!
